Privacy
OneBuckPot stores as little as technically possible. This page is a placeholder text and must be reviewed before real payments are accepted.
What we store
- A payment record: amount in cents, currency, status, timestamps.
- A payment reference from the payment provider.
- A referral code, and the referral code that sent a visitor, if any.
- A payment event id, so a duplicate notification is ignored.
What we do not store
- No name.
- No email address.
- No IP address.
- No location.
- No account, no login, no profile.
- No card data — payment credentials never reach our servers.
Referral status without accounts
Your own referral codes are remembered in your browser only (localStorage). The server never learns who owns a code. There is no leaderboard and no public display of personal information.
If you arrive through a referral link, the code is stored in a cookie for 30 days so a later payment can be attributed to that code. The cookie contains nothing but the code.
Payment provider
Payments will be processed by Stripe (USD 0.35 card processing fee added to every transaction; review local surcharge rules before going live). Their own privacy terms apply to the payment itself. [DATA PROCESSING DETAILS — PLACEHOLDER]
